What’s up?
I read in a forum today…
“I’m twenty four years old and never had a girlfriend or an intimate relationship of any kind (not even a kiss).
A lot of my friends have told me that I have the “ugly duckling” syndrome.
When I was in high school, I was very overweight and unfit, didn’t have many friends and was bullied.
A few years after high school I took martial arts and self defense classes in which I ended up losing a ton of weight, got in great shape and changed how I look.
The problem is, on the inside I am still the same fat, shy and unsecured kid. I have a lot of trouble talking too girls that I’m attracted to and have feelings for.
I’m getting tired of being single. Any advice on how to stop being shy, more confident and avoid being put in the friend zone?”

Thanks for an excellent question DiscoSpider.
Most women put men in the friend zone immediately because of the type of conversations they have with them when they first meet.
She makes you feel comfortable, important and gives you a sense that she really likes you more than a friend just because she is talking to you.
In reality, she has decided already if you can be just another cool friend to her.
What if you was the one making that decision?
You are not looking to get a ton of women friends, you’re looking for a partner. If a woman really likes you, how do you think she would act around you?
You should be the one deciding what woman goes into the friend zone, not them.
