How To Avoid Being Used By Your Ex-girlfriend

Don’t let old feelings cloud your judgement.

A reader asks…

“I recently found out that my ex-girlfriend slept with someone else a few weeks after we broke up and I can’t even describe the pain I was feeling.

Even though we weren’t together we was keeping in contact and I was her emotional crutch.

Despite all the pain she put me through, I’ve been so alone and still think about her.

If nobody comes along to replace her, can I ever forgive her and fully get on with my life without thinking bad about her?”

Thanks for a great question Walton. Getting over your first real girlfriend is always going to be hard, because she was your first.

You will always try to find a way to justify the wrong she did to you.

And keeping any kind of contact makes it that much harder to let her go.

But why put yourself through so much agony.

Of course you can forgive her and move on with your life.

You just have to know how and stop wasting your time crying over a woman that don’t really give a damn about you.

If she did y’all would still be together.

What you need to do is find a woman that likes you for you that’s faithful, loyal and has integrity.

Someone who values being with one man and the thought of cheating makes her throw up.

And you know what?

One of the best (and easiest) ways to find a woman like that even if you’re shy and suck at talking to women is asking the right questions. (If done correctly, at least).

So listen up, listen good, and NEVER forget: “If you can find a woman that doesn’t jeopardize the things that makes you happy, then you have a real shot at a healthy relationship.”

And that’s where I can help…
