“Michael, A few minutes ago I was talking to my good friend, who I always thought to be very successfully married. I tend to know his wife for a long time and was very envious of him having a wife with such a nice personality.

But recently he told me for the last couple of years they spend free time separate from each other.

They have different interests and different friends. Also they rarely go out together.

It seems like they are total strangers.

I always thought that married people feel less lonely than single ones, especially if they’re in their late 30’s.

But I was wrong.

Now I realized that it’s very possible to be successfully married and still feel alone.
