“Michael, I recently turned 41 years old and spent my birthday alone. I went out to a Chinese restaurant since that’s my favorite type of food.

While I was sitting at my table, a family of 3 pass by and the little girl stop and ask her mommy, “why is he eating alone, he looks so sad.”

I felt so ashamed and pathetic of myself that a 7 year old girl could tell just how sad and lonely I was. It’s been so long for me that I have forgotten how a woman’s touch felt. Is there any hope for me?”
